Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about processing hardware logs, using our diagnostic tools, and data privacy.

1. Are my device logs or diagnostic files stored on your servers?

No. Privacy is our top priority. All uploaded crash strings, panic-full text files, and analytical screenshots are processed transiently in-memory for the sole purpose of generating your diagnostic readout. We do not store, archive, or monetize user log data.

2. How do I extract a panic log from an iPhone?

On iOS devices, navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. Look for log files starting with panic-full corresponding to the date of the crash. You can copy the raw text or share the log file directly into our Panic Engine.

3. What is the difference between standard Panic Analysis and BIM DEEP?

While our standard Panic Engine performs regex pattern matching and OCR to pinpoint direct fault indicators (like audio ICs or charging faults), BIM DEEP is an experimental cross-reference engine. It cross-examines multiple system telemetry indicators simultaneously to map out *where* a board-level failure originates rather than just listing what failed.

4. Can I integrate BIM TECH diagnostics into my own repair shop software?

Yes! We offer a Developer API designed for mobile repair platforms, custom workshop point-of-sale systems, and automated testing rigs. You can pipe raw log payloads directly through our API endpoints to receive structured JSON diagnostics.

5. How do I use the WhatsApp bot integration?

Our WhatsApp Bot allows technicians on the workbench to query diagnostic strings or send crash report files straight from a mobile phone, providing instant text-based analysis without needing to switch back to a desktop computer.

6. How accurate is the battery telemetry parser?

Our Battery Metrics Analyzer reads deep system analytics to extract real-time cycle counts, design capacity versus maximum capacity ratios, and charging thermal flags, helping you determine if a device requires a physical battery replacement.
